Project Overview
Project brief: Reconfigure the downstairs of a family home to help create an open plan kitchen-diner and link to the children’s playroom.
Timeframe: 6 weeks
Work completed:
KT5 were brought in to help a young family reconfigure the downstairs of their family home to help create an open plan diner, linked from Kitchen and update their cloak room and improve the layout of their playroom and living room.
- Removed part of wall between the kitchen and dining room and inserted a structural beam, allowing the couple to access the dining area more effectively from the Kitchen.
- Added double doors to connecting the dining room to the children’s playroom, increasing visibility but option to close the doors in the evening and when entertaining!
- Redecorated, tiled and added new flooring to downstairs bathroom.
- Supplied and fit new doors, change the opening and fit velux windows and ceiling lights.
- New plastering, electrics, flooring throughout downstairs.
